We are committed to providing chef-quality meals and educational support to individuals and families in need within our community. We believe that no one should go hungry, and we work every day to create a positive, lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.
Too many hardworking people are forced to choose between keeping the lights on or putting food on the table. We believe that no family should have to make that choice.
That’s why we are cutting through the “red tape” that often stands in the way of help. We focus on serving those who don’t qualify for county assistance, food stamps, or other aid programs—people who cannot afford to miss work to wait in long pantry lines, but who still struggle to make ends meet.

At 86 Hunger Now, volunteers are the heart and hands of our mission to nourish neighbors in need. Every week, dedicated community members come together to sort and distribute food donations, prepare chef-quality meals, and support events that uplift families struggling to make ends meet. Your time and energy make a real difference in the lives of people who work hard but still face food insecurity.
Whether you’re helping in the kitchen on Saturdays, delivering meals throughout the community, or bringing your skills to support events and outreach, there’s a place for you here. Volunteers help us show compassion in action—and every moment you give helps strengthen our community.
Ready to get involved? Sign up through our volunteer link today and be a part of something meaningful. Together, we can ensure that everyone has access to the nourishment and support they deserve.

Every plate we serve, every volunteer who shows up, every donor who gives — it all matters. Together, we’re proving that hunger is a problem we can solve when we come together.
Whether it’s $10, $25, or $50 a month — your commitment makes all the difference.
